About MCHN
Mother Child Health Nepal (MOCHEN) was established in 2014 (B.S. 2071) to work in the areas of health, environment, peace, and rights protection, as a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization.
The Government of Nepal's Ministry of Home Affairs and the Social Welfare Council granted approval in the same year (2071) for the organization to conduct service-oriented programs throughout the country.
With its main office in Chitwan and field offices in program areas, the organization's current working areas include the districts of Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Gorkha, and Lamjung.
Since our inception, MOCHEN has made a significant impact on the communities we serve. Our health education programs have empowered countless individuals with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. Our efforts in combating tobacco use and substance abuse have contributed to healthier, tobacco-free communities. Through our environmental conservation programs, we are fostering a sustainable future for generations to come
