Community Clinics and Mobile Health Units Launched by MOCHEN

Mother Child Health Nepal (MOCHEN) is excited to announce the launch of new community clinics and mobile health units to improve access to healthcare services for underserved and remote communities in Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Gorkha, and Lamjung districts. This initiative aligns with MOCHEN’s commitment to providing comprehensive health services and promoting well-being for all.

New Community Clinics

MOCHEN has opened new community clinics strategically located to ensure easy access for residents. These clinics will offer a variety of health services, including maternal and child health care, reproductive health services, routine check-ups, and treatment for common illnesses. By establishing these clinics, MOCHEN aims to bring high-quality healthcare closer to those who previously had limited access.

Mobile Health Units

In addition to the new clinics, MOCHEN has introduced mobile health units that will travel to remote and underserved areas. These mobile units are equipped with essential medical supplies and staffed by healthcare professionals who will provide vaccinations, health screenings, and emergency medical care. The mobile units will also conduct health education sessions to promote preventive healthcare practices.

Impact on Communities

The expansion of health services through community clinics and mobile health units is expected to significantly improve healthcare accessibility. By reducing travel time and costs for patients, these new services will ensure that more people receive the medical care they need. Additionally, the health education sessions provided by the mobile units will raise awareness about important health issues and promote healthier lifestyles.

Support and Sustainability

MOCHEN invites community members, partners, and donors to support this important initiative. Contributions will help equip the new clinics and mobile units with necessary medical supplies and ensure the sustainability of these vital health services.
